Today, we heard the voices of Ana Murguia, Debra Rojas, and Dolores Huerta.
We hear you.
We see you.
We believe you.
We unequivocally support you.

Dolores Huerta, you stood with hundreds of janitors and immigrant workers who broke their silence when they courageously broke their silence about rape on the night shift. Today, 50,000 workers stand united with you and all survivors of sexual trauma.

The UFW and the farmworkers movement empowered millions of people to fight for civil rights and social justice at a time when that seemed impossible. Hero advocates continue to do that today, and Justice for Janitors is part of that legacy. The labor movement cannot simply aspire to dignity and respect – all of us must live up to these ideals rooted in justice and freedom. There is no justice and freedom without accountability.

– SEIU-USWW President David Huerta
