We honor survivors. Whether or not you have spoken out, we affirm your experiences and support you. Standing with survivors strengthens our movement for there is no justice without accountability.

Our community has responded swiftly and with clarity, guided by a moral compass that leads us toward healing and truth. Together, we must demand transparency and accountability from anyone who perpetrates, enables or ignores abuse—from the fields to the White House

Courageous organizing by farmworkers and their sacrifices laid the foundation for future movements and organizers. The Grape Boycott of the 1960s, the Chicano Moratorium of 1970, the Justice for Janitors campaigns of the 1990s, the “A Day without an Immigrant” march of 2006, these are just four examples of Latino-led struggles that lifted exploited people out of the shadows and secured collective bargaining rights and dignity. As Esmeralda Lopez said in the New York Times, “The movement—that’s the hero.” Now, we can shape the movement to meet this new moment and create a future rooted in solidarity.

We must transform broken systems that allow the powerful to exploit immigrants and workers, regardless of their status. Women, trans, and femme people continue to confront sexual violence and abuse. Our government is escalating its campaign to silence dissent, criminalize resistance, and erode our democracy. Farm and immigrant workers are under attack by a lawless Administration that tries to hunt us down. In the face of these attacks, the Farmworkers and their movement continue to bravely stand up and defend their rights, providing everyone with a beacon of hope and resilience. This moment calls for a renewed commitment to progress and to continue proudly advocating for the liberation of all peoples.

We are beautiful voices who loudly, unflinchingly demand a better future for ourselves and generations to come. We stand in awe of the incredible sacrifices that our ancestors made to build a better society. We embrace everyone struggling to survive, and raise our fists at injustice so we can all thrive.

Solo el pueblo salva al pueblo. La lucha sigue.
