On February 26th, USWW members who work at SFO held another in a series of contract actions to build up pressure as they enter economic bargaining with their employers. Over 500 members came out to walk, chant and speak out about conditions at SFO.
Several members of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors came out to support our campaign including Connie Chan, Rafael Mandelman, Shamann Walton, Chyanne Chen, and Alan Wong. All said that they supported our efforts to win at least $30 per hour and would stand with us as we negotiate with our employers.
