Aaron Taylor

A San Francisco native who has spent his entire life in the Bay Area, Aaron has been priced out of living in his hometown. “A year ago my rent went up to 569. It was 545. And it if goes up again I ‘m going to try and get a second job. That is how I gotta make my bills. I live pay check to pay check.” Right now Aaron lives on a strict budget. No movies, no going out, only the basics he needs. For a period of time, he was using his credit card for food, clothing, and household expenses. But quickly his expenses grew larger than his check so he has stopped using his credit card and is now working to pay it off. This means, he has nothing to fall back on should an emergency happen.
